Syndicated Research Q&A with Nali Moftizadeh
It’s one of the favourite times of the year for our research experts, as we prepare to launch our annual syndicated research. This year’s theme is: The State of Global Business Education in 2025.
Our Senior Research Manager, Dr Nali Moftizadeh, tells us more…

What makes this year’s research even better?
This year is particularly exciting as it’s the first time we’re taking a deep dive into all things business education - across all levels of study and modes of delivery. Having collaborated with lots of different business schools in the past and seen the dynamic and challenging nature of the sector first hand, we’re excited to bring all different schools together and explore the emerging key trends. After all, knowledge is power!
What’s in it for institutions to take part, and what do you get at the end of it?
You’ll get exclusive insight into key trends in business education, be able to see how your own school stands relative to the rest of the market and understand how to strengthen your business education portfolio to stay competitive in the market. At the end, institutions can expect a full report with in-depth insight, market comparisons, and demographic breakdowns. There’s also the option to opt into being able to view and customise your very own dashboard. This will house all the data from the report – giving you power over what you see, how you want to break the data down and which variables to compare against.
What kinds of topics will it cover?
We’ll be looking closely at issues, broken down, into four key areas:
1) Journey to business education. What are students’ key motivations, considerations and expectations?
2) Portfolio development. What’s impacting on the sector most? What should you prioritise when developing your portfolio for the future?
3) The learning experience. How good is it now and how can it be optimised? What can we learn from past and present performance to make it better for the future?
4) Perceived value of the course. How much value is placed on business education? How do students measure it?
What’s involved for those taking part?
We only really ask you to do two things. First, you can get early access to a detailed topic guide highlighting the questions that will be asked in the report. This gives you the rare chance to suggest any key questions you’d like included in the survey.
Secondly, once the survey is published and live, you just need to distribute it to your alumni, current students studying business education-related courses, and prospective students who have enquired or applied for your course.
How can I learn more and take part?
